Jim was offered $10K less than fair market for his Total Loss.
When Jim's new Toyota Tundra was totaled, insurance lowballed and wouldn't budge. They only offered him $30,000 (10K too low) for a settlement.
His truck was worth $40,000 fair market price.
We got Jim $10,000 more from insurance in one week. We used a stock photo and rounded the numbers but this is a true story.

Frequently Asked
Claims Questions.
Your questions about total loss and diminished value claims answered.
Notify your insurance company of the loss immediately and provide documentation. Submit police reports, tow bills, photos of the vehicle and any repair estimates you may have. Insurance will have certain requirements you must fulfill in order for the claim to be valid. Your policy contract will detail the process.
The insurance company will review the overall condition of the vehicle, the mileage, the options and trim level. Your vehicle's pre-loss value is compared to the local market value. These all are unique factors that go into the total loss "actual cash value" or ACV. They submit this information to their third party vendor that will evaluate the vehicle and create a market valuation report. The comparable vehicles used should be an "apples to apples" comparison.
Diminished value claims address the loss in value of your vehicle after an accident, even after repairs. This claim compensates you for the reduction in your car's worth.
The timeline for total loss and diminished value claims can vary based on several factors. Typically, it can take a few weeks to a couple of months to reach a resolution. Our team works diligently to expedite the process for you.
If your claim is denied, don't lose hope. We can review your case and help you understand your options for appeal. Our negotiation experts are here to advocate on your behalf.
